Zaino's Nursery & Garden Center

Zaino's Nursery & Garden Center was a lovely accidental find. We were on our way to another nursery and turned into Zaino's instead. We were so very glad that we did too. The staff is not only friendly and willing to help, THEY ARE KNOWLEDGABLE. I could not grow a favored flowering plant in my garden, but my Zaino garden expert told me exactly which version of the plant I should use, what products to use, and how to plant it. I now have one of my favorite plants in my garden growing well. I will definitely use Zaino's again, especially since I LOVE to support family owned businesses. And yes, I'm certain it's family run because my garden expert radioed "Dad" to learn where he'd placed one of the particular plants I was looking for and "Dad" responded immediately. So, if you're looking for a garden center, a visit to Zaino's will be well worth your effort.

I visited this nursery today and was truly impressed. From the moment you approach, it’s easy to find thanks to a large, clear sign on the main road with their phone number - perfect if you want to call ahead and check on product availability. The nursery itself is spacious, exceptionally clean, and well-maintained. Everything is clearly labeled—whether you’re looking for annuals, perennials, hostas, vegetables, herbs, or indoor plants, the signs make it so easy to navigate. Prices are clearly marked, and even if a specific pot is missing a tag, you can find pricing information on the stand itself. Beyond plants, they offer a great selection of garden decor, including wind chimes, macrame hangers, seeds, tools, and more. I was especially touched to see memorial garden statues for pets - one in particular, a cat with wings, really moved me. The staff is fantastic - friendly, sociable, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions about plant care and repotting. I came looking for an anthurium of a specific color, and thanks to a Google recommendation, I checked here and found exactly what I needed! I also noticed a staff member regularly walking through the rows and removing pla

Zaino's is part of our family holiday tradition. For the last 7 years, my wife and I have bought our Christmas tree at Zaino's. The trees are healthy and beautiful. The gentlemen who put them atop the vehicle are all gentlemen. They are respectful and informative on making your tree survive the holiday season. Also, the owners are very cordial and welcoming. This year (not sure about other years) there was a Santa Claus visiting. He was friendly and engaging with our daughter. See you guys in the summer!

I planted a lot of perennial and annuals this year and moved my business to Zaino’s Nursery for Spring ‘23. The selection and service works for me. They also carry great potting soil from Maine and Bumper Crop soil amendment that’s made a great difference. I had a great summer crop in ‘23. Flowers, vegetables, perennials all did well. What is especially interesting and exciting at Zaino’s is the indoor growing tent, lights, nutrients and other items that will help with my indoor all year round growing process.

👍 Highly Recommend! Zaino's is Family Owned and Operated and it shows. We had a very personal experience with Michael Zaino. From the begining to end, he was very patient and knowledgeable. Our backyard needed a fresh start. His plantings were tasteful, sustainable and private. The scheduling and the timeline on the project were met during all phases. With confidence we can recommend Zaino's to our friends and family. We thank you for a great experience in making our backyard beautiful and private.
